Welcome to Orlando Unleashed.
Whether your pet is a snuggly Persian, a stout boxer or even a
whistling parakeet, if you love your pet as much I do, then this
magazine is for you. Our pets are members of our family and managing
our families is a full time job! We need help! And that’s
what this magazine is intended to provide. So as you find just
that right spot on your sofa, your faithful companion at your feet,
grab an issue and enjoy all the things we love about our pets.
Each issue will provide articles that answer your questions, make
you laugh, open up your heart and enhance your relationship with
your pet. This magazine is for you ... and for your pet, of course.
Pet lovers know that the one place we can find unconditional love
is from that furry little soul we have chosen to bring into our
home and our hearts. We are eager to return that love by finding
as many ways as possible to spend quality time with our pets. Central
Florida is a beautiful location and the opportunities for outdoor
adventures are numerous. Our focus at Orlando Unleashed is to share
these opportunities with you as you explore pet-friendly locations
and establishments where our best friends can take along their
human companions while enjoying some out-of-home activities.
In future issues, you can look forward to learning about local
pet-supporting events (some where pets can accompany you and a
few where they’re not invited) and lots of other great things
to do together (like Frisbee trails, all breed pet shows, agility
contests, etc.). We’ll share inspiring stories from local
pet "owners."
Orlando Unleashed will have regular features, too. In each issue
you can consult with the Legal Beagle. The Legal Beagle will not
only discuss estate planning for your pet but will be addressing
some of your legal questions related to pet ownership. Other regular
features will include those must-have horoscopes for your pet (not
all fish are Pisces!), grooming tips and pet therapy (how to enhance
and strengthen the bond between human and pet). In "Why Does
my Dog do That?," we’ll try to answer some of your questions
about s specific pet behaviors.
While we’re sharing all the latest information on the best
beaches to run with your dog, what restaurants and stores actually
welcome Skippy and where to find the best dog parks…we will
also be working to promote the rescue, adoption and welfare of
non-companioned pets ? potential pets that want nothing more than
a little food, a safe shelter and a warm heart willing to accept
their unconditional love.
So “Sit” and enjoy Orlando’s newest magazine – and
don’t forget to enjoy it with your loyal pal as well! We
